CALLING ALL PERFORMERS!

Spinner Entertainment, LLC is looking for performers such as Go-Go Dancers, jugglers, musical groups, acrobats, fire performers: staff, poi, hoop, fans, eaters, breathers, and dancers; sideshow artists: human blockhead, glass walkers/eaters, fire walkers, sword swallowers, etc.; spinners: hoop, poi, staff, baton, rings; magicians, hypnotists, aerialists, contortionists, etc. to join our ever-growing repertoire of talented performers.

We share your passion for performance and artistic expression. At Spinner Entertainment, we understand how hard it can be to search for gigs and negotiate prices. It is our mission to help each and every one of our performers to find opportunities to share your art.; and get paid for what you love.

Here is what is not required to join:

Exclusivity. As a performer for Spinner Entertainment, you are not committed to just our company. You can get jobs wherever you desire. We will help you to be as professional as possible wherever you perform. We only make demands whenever you are booked for a gig.

Investment. You do not give us any money to join. Absolutely free! You will not be required to purchase anything except for you own tools, props, and fuel. However, we do require headshot, performance photos/videos, and costumes, but you will be notified early on.

Obligation. We do not own you, you are not employees of Spinner Entertainment. If you cannot make a gig, nor interested, we have no problem you turning something down. It will not change the standing within the company. All we ask if you give us the respect you will be given and let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Here’s what is required to join:

Safety. Our number one priority. Whenever you are performing for us, we expect you to adhere to the latest NAFAA Performer Guidelines.

Professionalism. One of the main reasons Spinner Entertainment is successful is our reputation of being professional. We ask that you show up on time if not before to gigs, and dress in costume. We also ask that when doing fire performances, you stick to the area that is designated for optimal safety standards. We ask that you are respectful to patrons at the event and to the owners of the property.

Communication. Gigs will be moving at a fast pace. Should you have factors that inhibit you from performing at the designated event, please let us know ASAP. Also, if you have any issues with the client, please let us take care of it.

Our reputation is being created and shall maintain a positive direction. This type of career is very exciting to be a part of it. If you need assistance such as props, tools, licensing, permits, etc., please do not hesitate to ask. We are here for you. Last but not least, please take a look at various insurance avenues if you haven’t done so already. Safety is our major concern. For you, the client, and patrons at the event.

Safety:

  • The North American Fire Arts Association– A storehouse of fire codes, safety information, fuel info and research. Red Swan is proud to be a contributor to their national safety regulations project.

Insurance:

  • Specialty Insurance, (Clowns of the US), a group fire performance liability insurer. Reasonable rates on an annual schedule.
  • Fractured Atlas, an individual fire performance liability insurer. Because they do not offer group insurance, they can cover individuals, troups, and much more.

Paperwork:

  • IRS W9 forms. If you want to get paid, you’ll need to fill this out.
  • Performer contracts are an integral part of teams and put you in first place for other gigs.
